While I don't have a pic I will say that the one I saw in person was NOT IMO maroon. I think if anything it could be called a dark red.

 

I haven't seen the red one in person yet. Anyone have a link to a photo that they feel is the closest representation of the real thing? I've looked at the frapper pics and there are quite a few differences in the red ones.

I found it on Dupli-color's site listed as Candy Apple Red. I'm going to find out here shortly what it is, because I have to match my saddle bags to it.

My wife named mine Ruby as soon as I got it home, hence the text under my avatar.

2nd day I had it, and first ride when I wasn't getting soaked:

 

Whatever color red it is, it's just way too purtty. At least mine is!
