Like most here i have put EBC brake pads in my 109R and got the annoying buzzing when applying the brakes. I tried all of the suggestions to reduce the noice but i believe i have found a solution. I noticed when running my finger over the drilled holes in the rotors that the edges of the holes where very sharp so as each sharp hole met the leading edge of the pad it would make a noise and so many holes makes the buzzing sound. I used a 10mm drill bit in a drill and put a small chamfer on each hole on both sides of the rotor ( probaby only about 0.5 of a mm chamfer) i had to remove the wheel from the bike and then the rotors from the wheel to do it. I took it for ride and the noise seemed completely gone, i am going for a 300km ride in a week so that will be the true test but im pretty confident.

I had the same issue with EBC on one of my bikes. Drove me crazy trying to figure it out. The bike has a mechanical speedo with cable and I was just sure that was the issue. Then I rebuild the caliper, nope. Never would have though it was the pads. Replaced pads with oem and noise went away.

Welcome to the forum. My EBC HH pads would make a swishing sort of sound when I first put them on, but I don't recall noticing it the last couple years. I hear the balancing beads in the tires at low speeds more. Glad you posted this though, I'm sure it will help a lot of folks.
