So I've had my bike for a few months now, and didn't realize how much I really like it. The only reason I can see ever getting on something else would be to get a bagger so I can use it to go to work when it is nice outside. I am just curious what other bikes you guys have ridden and if you ever got on anything you liked as much. My first bike was a Victory Vegas but that was years ago. It was very comfortable, but i don't remember it being as responsive in terms of handling. I've recently ridden my buddy's V-rod and another buddy's softail slim. The V-rod was fun and snappy, but i didn't feel the power I do on the 9 and it wasn't as comfortable. The Slim is a awesome looking bike IMO, but it was the most uncomfortable bike and turning was a chore.

I started on an 81 gs650g, then moved up to an 81 kz1000, then traded off riding duty with the 07 vn900 i traded in on my 9. The gs650g was fun in the twisties and not too overpowering for a noob. The kz1000 was just flat out like going warp 3, and i miss that bike. The vn900, well lets just say it was too much of a disappointment for me to want to keep it.
I found that once i got my 9 that i can handle it very well, and i am way more stable on it at slow speeds than any other bike and find it comfortable to ride
