Just wondering how many of you have chromed their rims and what a guy should expect to pay for the job. Don't want to get hosed if I decide to get it done. I think I will. Some of the pics of the bikes that are done are really sweet

I did a Google search on Chroming motorcycle rims and a bunch of results came back...checking the sites seems to go from $500-750.00...I have a feeling
that the rear wheel is gonna be a bit more expensive because of the size.

If I do it...I'd also want the hub done as well...as the othe poster has done. I would love to find a place local or nearby ...drop off my bike and come back for it
in 2-3 days and pay $800 or so bucks and be done , nothing good comes easy.

I bet up close...seeing the wheels done makes the bike look custom.

I had my 19" x 8.5" rims chromed for my Acura and the guy told me that the price varied depending on the size of the wheel. They wanted $275 per wheel and I talked him down to $225 . So I would guess that our bike should be around $200 per wheel (without labor)
