Looking at the following as I have an FI code my Servo was left attached (freedom pipes on it) and it just died Code 046:

Servo Buddy

Servo Buddy is $110 CAD Shipped
REVO is $160 Shipped

What are your experiences with these 3 items ?

Did you look up Healtech? IMHO they all just fool the ECU
that all is OK using probably the very similar method ,
therefore I would buy the cheapest one.
See what electronic gurus here will say.
Cheers thevili Healtec is a decent price too !! I can get it for $105CAD shipped. thanks for that. Found a Canadian source and that would ship pretty quick.

if Healtec is good ( have heard good things in general about Healtec), may be my best bet I think ?

What say the electronics Guru's ?
I would go with the Healtech too. They have a good reputation for all their electronic gizmos.
Cheers Zoom
I have a Revo servo eliminator. $55 plus shipping. I removed it when I got my ECU flashed.

Tanks SillyRabbit, much appreciated I ordered a heltech last night.

Found a Canadian supplier which got one to me shipped for $110CAD

By the time the exchange rate hits + shipping (US to Canada shipping is madness), and import duty the costs add up super fast (usually 2 or 3 times the US$ sale cost for the item). Its too bad because the USA has a far better supply of "Stuff" and it just costs a fortune to get it here. Its actually cheaper and faster to ship from Japan & Australia to Canada than from the USA to Canada. 3 days form Japan to my door !!! 3 weeks or more from the USA and the shipping is 1/3 the cost from Japan. IDK why or how that works.

Anyway, hopefully my ESE will arrive mid week and ill be rolling again soon.

Gonna post a video in my youtube channel for this too.

Are you running a aftermarket fuel tuner with your exhaust?

If not then best bang for your buck would have been to have to have the ECU flashed.
Flashing the ECU take the place of the servo eliminator, the TRE and the aftermarket fuel tuner add ons and does it all right inside the OEM ECU. Plus gives you many more features that none of those aftermarket add on devices offer.

Yes, Its got a PowerCommander on it.

Plus, as nice as an ECU flash would be, Im in Canada so 1) It would likely have to get shipped to the USA to be done (not cheap nor quick) and 2) our sound laws in Ontario could catch up with me and force me to put the OEM pipes back on, so quick reversal of the mods is a consideration for me.

Well, unless something seriously changed in last 3 years in Canada, /I lived there previously for past 40 years in Ontario/ I think, you are a little paranoid, sorry for that strong word.. Seems to me you are looking for an excuse not to flash, IMHO once you do a proper research you will find out there is a allways a way ... Again, its JMHO... Cheers.. 🍻

I have had quite a few Canadian customers mention that noise enforcement is becoming an issue the past couple of years.

Seems as if parts of the Great White North are going the same direction as parts of Comifornia and NY here in the USA. (Down the toilet) :)

To send a one piece electronic part to USA for repair and receive it back to Canada through customs, should not and will not cause the receiver to be audited for his motorcycle exhaust noise, unless he or she is PUTINS relative.. LOL, And if he or she is his relative or friend of Putin, then sancion is justified ... Again JMHO.. Cheers!... 🍻

Cheers guys

Its not the ECU flash by itself that concerns me wrt Noise laws. There are definitely no audits of such things.

What concerns me is, the noise pollution laws are being more strictly enforced, and I know several guys who have had to go back to stock OEM systems as a result of being pulled and charged by police. if that happens we have to report back to Police to pass a sound test.

So... in my simple mind, if that happens to me, I want to be able to easily go back to Stock setup (Exhaust, no Power Commander etc). So having a flashed ECU seems to me that it is one more thing to undo if I go back to stock.

In addition, its often easier to sell a bike in stock form than it is to sell one modified. I have a full OEM exhaust (including a functional servo still attached) waiting in the wings if either of these issues ever unfolds. My OCD demands that I'm prepared for such things, and yes I do actually have some degree of OCD.

The whole exercise of sending stuff to the USA for a flash, leaves me out of the water for too long re access to the bike and again Im not good with sending stuff away (My OCD gives me grief when im not in possession of my stuff).

Round trip to the USA would be minimum 6 weeks for me. Maybe because I live in the middle of nowhere.

What year is your bike? If it is an early model the least expensive option is to pull or cut the #7 wire going to your ECU.
Later years do not have this option and need a servo eliminator.

I have a Revo servo eliminator that I no longer use anymore since I had my ECU flashed by BCS here. I am just up the road in Edmonton. I can let it go to you for $50 + shipping or meet in person if you happen to be near Edmonton.

EDIT I see you have one shipped already.
