This is a new bike with a new group of riders. Please take the time to introduce yourself and tell us what you think about the new Suzuki M109R. I think it's going to be a great bike. 8)

Hi Glad to see someone has stepped up and created a msg board for the 109R. I have had my Black 109R for about 3 weeks now. I love this bike! The ride, power and looks are truly amazing. I can't wait for the aftermarket guys to come up with some cool mods.

Glad to see this new board!! ;D Had my silver 109 about a month.  Love the bike.  Don't like the handle bars, but rotated them upwards a little and it helped.  Lookin' for a windshield.  Other than that don't plan  to do any mods ::) (Famous last words) ;)

I'm thinking a Windvest might be the best bet for this bike. So how many miles on her so far?

Hello,

Thought i'd say hello to other m109 owners out there. I got mine March 1st in silver. Just went past 1000 miles yesterday. The only accessory i need is bags. But i'll wait for the right ones. My dealer has the pipes, but I want to hear them on someone elses bike first. Oh, I lifted my bars a little too. Much better.
Anyone in Pennsylvania ? - Al

What pipes does your dealer stock? What type of bag are you looking for, hard or soft?

When he mentioned it, I never asked to see them, but I'm pretty sure it would be something to order. I don't think they're in stock, but i'm gonna find out now. I'll let you know.
Bags- I think I want matching hard bags with curves to match the bike. What i've seen so far is just awful.
Most people would say bags don't belong on this bike, but if they're really nice ones, they'll look great.

I've had my bike for about a month now & I love this thing. I traded a HayaBusa for the M109R & I'm not dissapointed at all. I've put over 600 miles so far and my 1st impressions are nothing but possitive. Coming from the sport bike world I would have to say that this bike will change alot of sport bike riders minds about cruisers made like the M109R. Great job on getting this board started I think it will be needed for guys like myself who love to mod bikes & ride till the tires wear out.

8) I just got my Black M109R April 5, so far so good. It has good power and handles better than I expected, also, the more I look at it, the more I like it. The first things that I am changing are the Mirrors (they work very good, no vibration, great visibility, but they don't look very nice) also the Grips and the Pegs are gone, I have just ordered them. I was also considering changing the pipes, but some reports that I have read say that  Horsepower and Torque output will decrease if the exhaust is changed, since the stock pipes have a valve setup in them.
I am working on some custom parts for the Bike, and I will post some pics as soon as I get some work done to it.  ;D
I just want to wish everyone good luck, and HAPPY RIDING.

I feel the same way. I was sitting in a fast food joint today and looking out the window at the bike and thinking to myself "man that's a good looking bike" ;D
Now I just have to figure out how to make it better. 8)

Hello, my name is Ryan from the Annapolis, Md area. I picked up a black one a week ago. The bike handles much better then I thought it would and the riding position is really good. Just waiting for the break-in to be over with, so I can really open her up.

Excellent work Lamont - I am watching this site with interest. If it turnsout like VTXOA (which you have spent a lot of time refining and moderating) it will become an invaluable tool for us all.

I don't have an M109R in the garage YET. Waiting for Suzuki to release it down here - have been told it will land in Australia towards the end of this month....already booked my test ride with the stealer and cannot wait ;D ;D

Keep the reviews and posts coming guys!!

Hi all,

I've had my 109R for about a month now but its been pretty cold to be out riding.  I've only got about 200KM on it so far.  It's stock black and looks better than anything else on the road as is.  I came out of a store the other day there were 10 guys standing around checking it out.  Gotta love that!  ;D

As you might have guessed from the mileage rating - I'm in Canada and live in Alberta.  Any other riders in the area?

Lamont, thanks for setting up this forum!  It looks like a great place to come for info and ideas.

I really am glad someone started a site dedicated to, what I believe, is the best street bike yet. I'm from South Dakota, the land of Sturgis, and I am proud to be riding a non-HD that can really deliver. I look forward to talking to all of you and getting feedback on all the different topics.
