will it void my warrenty if i change the oil the first time myself and skip the first or any service ?

Be sure to keep all receipts of oil/filter purchases to document that you did the changes when you say you did. Not sure if it would be required, but it will definitely help back up your word. About the only benefit I see of having the dealer to the service is they keep records for you.

true, I kept the big receipt from the Suzuki dealer for the oil and filter in the service manual I bought. I think I will wait a while longer to switch over to synthetic but when I do I will save the receipts even If I buy the oil from Walmart.
