Well my 9 is officially "down" until I get a new clutch cable (old one was starting to fray at the ferrel and I didn't want to chance it) So I got onto DLP and ordered a cable, stebel horn, and EBC sintered brake pads for the front and rear (anybody use these before and what do you think) My nine does not have the oem pads since they don't dust like crazy, but they felt like they could use a bit more bite, especially in the front. I am also waiting on my ducks covers and k&n filters to get delivered. There are some other parts that I can't wait to install (pics to come as soon as they go on) My wife wasn't to happy when she saw that I had spent 5 benjamins this morning while I was at work. I told her that I spend money on my 9 instead of strippers and cocaine and she absolutely loved that response. Needless to say I am sleeping on the couch tonight.:D

Just bought X-revolution Stage 3 Air Kit, and a Chin Fairing from meancycles.com. Dropped a cpl more than 5 bills on that, and what did I tell the wife...oh wait being single rocks...now i just gotta get back from the sandbox and put all the goodies on the 9.

Mitigating some of the risk of riding my 9 is why I went with the stebel. And no I didn't sleep on the couch I was just jokin' but I sure did get a text while I was in the classroom teaching asking what I had bought (she new it was for my 9) As far as the clutch cable goes I think it had 7-8 k miles on it, the guy I bought it from said he had everything put on around 6,000. But they didn't route the cable on the outside of the motormount like everyone says to on here. I just can't wait for my seat from baldylatino, no more numb arse!
And to USAF-PMS-06 get back soon so you can spend your deployment savings like I am now (its almost as fun as being back with family and friends.)

How's the couch? Been there before................they don't have humor about these things!!!!!!!!
No, they don't do they?...But somehow they feel perfectly justified telling us that they "need" 83 pairs of shoes and 52 different handbags. And you'll be the bad guy if you want new pipes...

Well she dosen't like shoes as much as I do, but purses yes. I usually end up buying one everytime we hit the Coach store. She has her vices and I have mine. But she sells everything that we don't use (she made $2500 last month by cleaning out the closets and selling stuff on ebay!)

"Them danged wives monitor bank accounts like hawks!!! So you teach up at Leonard Wood? My brother is being assigned there in June (coming up from Ft. Polk)."

Yeah I am a M9 (Beretta 92F) and MK-19 (40mm machine gun) instructor for the Military Police school. Send your brother my way and if he has a bike we can ride.

That's why she has her bank account and I have mine..No intermingling of funds in my house. solves a lot of problems and aggravations...LOL

:agree: 100%, It's the only way to go. Sounds like your going full bore Jeremy with bling and safty mods, I'm sure you will be happy when it's all installed and rollin. I don't spend money on strippers either....atleast not lately.

I don't know if I would call it bling but I am definently changing up what dosen't fit my taste on my 9. And for some of it I traded or even made a couple bucks to put into parts elsewhere. I can't wait to get everything put back together and I will be at point where I will have to wait until winter to tear it all down for paint (I am going to try and get a brushed stainless look with a mural of Soldier with an MRAP and an M1151) and powdercoat so I can turn all my shiny parts to satin or matte black.

Oh this ticks me off, I just got an email from DLP saying that the clutch cable is on back order and they aren't sure when they will have any more (as early as 5MAY but not sure) So I have been searching for a place that can get a cable from and there is slim pickins. Any suggestions????
