Just got a chromed upper tree, but it has no bushings where the risers attach. The stealer says that I can't buy the bushings separately; I'd have to purchase the upper tree with the bushings installed. Does anyone know where to get or how to fabricate the bushings for the upper tree? HELP! :dontknow:

Just use the thick washer type things you can get at a hardware store.

You will hardly notice a difference.

Toss a rubber one in there every couple of washers if you are worried about vibration, but it is really no big deal.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll have to find something close to OEM and make it work. I wrapped the old partially destroyed bushings with electrical tape and it works ok, but I have about an eight of an inch movement in the handlebars after about 700 miles. Like Square Rounder say, it doesn't seem to be a big deal to find grommets or risers bushings that can be made to work. Thanks again for your help.
