I have this in the PA Riders forum, but I thought I would post it in the general forum also in case anyone is interested. Our local Harley Davidson dealer is having a fundraiser ride to benefit the Amish Families who lost children last week in the shootings. It will be a police escorted ride and it will go through some beautiful scenic roads of Lancaster County, PA.

Here are the details: Date: Sunday October 15th
Registration: 9:00 - 10:00 AM
Place: Smaltz's Harley Davidson - Rt 100 - Eagle, PA
Kickstands up at 10:00 AM
Checks preferred

Every dollar will go to the Nickel Mines School Victims Fund.

If you cannot attend, please send your donation to:

I wanted to thank those of you who sent donations even though you could not ride in the ride. Here is the update on todays ride.
954 bikes rode in the ride. $37,540.00 was raised. 100% of the money went to help the Amish families with medical and funeral expenses.

To my knowledge mine was the only 109 that I saw. I had the pleasure of doing the prayer for the closing ceremonies right before the presentation of the money to the Amish Representative.

Pulling in to Dutch Wonderland, our destination address where we all gathered to present the money.

Here I am with my 109 jacket on amongst almost 1000 Harley Riders trying not to be nervous as I open up in prayer.

Again, thank you all for your support.
