no such thing as to fast. Everything done so far I have done myself. Prob. less that $40 so far. Most of the other stuff is going to have to wait till after summer, too much riding to do now.

dont have to have signals in Texas.

The one on top is the original bone.
The one on bottom is the "bone" I made out of a piece of strap metal. You can buy it at any Home Depot or Lowes. This set I made is an inch longer, looked nice but to low. The ones that are on there are 5/8 inch longer. If I ride two up me and my wife seems to be ok. Im 200 and she is 120. I would recommend going a 1/2 in longer. Somewhere on here I seen step by step directions on removing the old bones. Pretty simple.

I am sure you did.. but going to ask anyway...... did you bevel the hole for the bolt head? If not please remove them and redo the hole so we don't have to read about you in the paper. The bike looks good for so little $ spent.... keep up the good work and keep us posted.

rwar! i knew you were up to something
Up to something ? poor innocent me ?

Just decided to say nice things about the guys making stuff on their own and trying to make the best of their bikes and not focus on the retreads talking about how nice their Victory is or how they finally installed a computer module after riding the bike for years to only find out that it made a difference ... I guess the first thousand people that said it worked wasn't good enough for the old guy .

So ....
All you guys that work on your own bike .... keep up the good work and keep the ideas coming
