Hey everybody. I'm thinking about designing some t-shirts (and other products) to immortalize our bad @$$ bikes. Wanted to see how many people would be interested before i got to the trouble to set up a site and get the designs together. There will be some things to work around because i cannot "legally" :cop: use the suzuki or M109r logos, but i can design sort of caricatures of the bike (think of the rat fink style cars etc.) that would be recognizable, with slogans like "Bruiser Cruiser", "Cruz missile","Does this tire make my ass look fat?" etc.....
If Lamonster gives his blessing i could also promote this site in the designs to let everybody know that we're members.

Also what kinds of shirts: fitted t's, golf shirts, hats, beanies would people like to see and what colors? Black, blue and grey to match the bikes?

I think this would be a fun project and fill a void, because as far as I know, there aren't any products available to say "i ride a 109". So let's hear it what do you think?

Just wanted to see what you guys thought so far. This is more line art style, but it allows me to change the color to burple, silver or the fastest color...black!
I still need to add the tag lines, but do you like so far? and how would you feel about shirts using actual photos? maybe harder to change the paint color though since I'm starting with photos of a black bike. keep the comments comin.

To me the 109 is the muscle car of cruisers so why not do something along those lines. Maybe something like a bulging bicep with a 109 drawn inside it and call it the "M109R SS". Just a crazy idea.........The Muscle Cruiser!!!!!

Put me down for a few t's! I like white, black, and blue mostly. For the fall/winter/spring I would be interested in some mock turtle neck t's as well with the M109R or M109Riders emblem embroidered into the collar. For t's I like those tagless Hanes but there are a few other brands that are doing that now. Make them high quality, I will pay a bit more if I know they won't shrink and shrivel up after their first few washes.

I like your thinking on the slogans, especially the "does this tire make my ass look fat" idea - on the back of the shirt maybe? On the front chest or on the sleeves it would be cool to have the M109Riders logo or M109R or something simple like that.

Also, since my wife won't ride, I have been informed that I need one that says "the B*tch fell off" or something to that effect.

I don't know if this is related or not but patches to sew onto our vests and jackets would also be something I would be interested in.

Yeah, I was thinking about patches too. i'll have to check into that as well. I used to have a friend with the machine for doing that, but he sold it a while back.
I'm taking notes, keep the ideas coming.

Anything you could come up with, I'm sure I'd be interested in. Every idea here so far kicks a$$!

Count me in.

There is a dude on ebay selling M109R t-shirts now. But they are tres lame. Nothing I'd wear.

If someone made a cool-looking shirt with a great rear-end drawing and "Does this tire make my ass look fat?" I'd buy a dozen... LOL

Also, LOVE the idea of color matching the bikes with the shirt colors. Of course, if that becaomes a cost issue, it's hard to go wrong with black.

Colors matching the bike and patches are great ideas too.

I'm up for T's and golf shirts in black.
Especially with a slogan like does this tyre make my ass look big
Can I have my slogan in English rather than American?
i.e tyre not tire ;)

Re: Trying to gauge interest in t-shirts, etc......

Great guys, lots of good ideas. I'll get to work designing this weekend. To the guy worrying about if they would be cool, don't. I'm a graphic designer, I work for a sign company designing logos and signage for casino's and large corporations. I've won 2 national first place awards for signage designs. Beyond that, I've been drawing cars and motorcycles since I was a little kid and started custom painting hot rods when I was 16. i won't put out there for you to see until its cool.

Got another idea this morning. Will be awesome if I can find a brave soul to lay behind the bike and get a close up picture of me doin a burnout. Won't give it away yet, but it'll be cool.

the summers can be extremely hot down here so I usually wear a T like a WICK shirt. They cost a Little more but keep you cool longer on hot days.

Very interested in short and long sleeve t's. Something out of the ordinary for a "Bruiser Cruiser". Just keep us posted.

I'd buy one if it were long sleeve.

please no maltese crosses...kind of getting old

I like the vintage looking shirts like the ones in JP cycle catalog.
