Found a engine and tranny really cheap, not looking to spend the money to get the shift forks replaced since suzuki told me tough luck. Just wanted to swap the new one with the old one its from an 07 like mine with. 2000 miles. What do u guys think?/how difficult? And I know I have the potential for it to happen again just don't have the 2500 suzuki wants to charge me

Well if your going to go through all that then send your gears to be back cut, from what i have read its well worth it!

You're talking about swapping out the entire engine and transmission, right? If so, get the service manual and it"s not that hard if you're mechanically inclined. I've not done one myself, but I've seen several on here that were removed in a matter of hours.

You won't get any better advice than from Zoom. All comes down to your abilities. If you can turn a wrench, no big deal. Its just like eating an elephant, one bite at a time.
