What tools should I buy if I'm about to undertake a polishing project? I currently have a drill, a 10" orbital buffer, and a 4 1/2" angle grinder. I would have thought those would work, but I can't seem to find pads and other consumables for those. What would you suggest. I'm mainly contemplating polishing the wheels, hub and rotors.

You can visit www.75chromeshop.com and order any supplies for polishing from there. Select "all other products" from the main page, then go to "care & cleaning products". All the polishing pads and compunds are right there.

I bought a Palm Polisher at Harbor Freight, are those usefull at all?

watch the vid in the above link. palm polisher is probably good if you want your palms polished. use an angle grinder like in the video. it needs the higher speed and torque to get the paint off and smooth out the surface.
