First. I have to apologize for taking way toooo long to get this posted. Crazy busy since the MAM2021 and it has not let up yet.

Now the real important point at hand!
This is year #15 for the MAM!!!!!!!
So! it does not matter what you ride, if you have been to a MAM before---- Now is the time to show up again!
I am calling out ALLLLL the old timers and original members of the M109Riders Forum to show up for the 15th Annual MAM! I do not think any of us expected this meet to make it this far, but here we are!

Yes, the numbers have been SSLLOOOWWWLLLLYYYY dropping over the years, but this is to be expected with meets like this one.As these types of meets are all about the rides, roads, fellowship, and the after hours shenanigans--- Of which I really hope to see the Canadian corner up again with the board opening.

We are back at our home away from home in Staunton, VA. So, all of us will know how much fun it is and what to expect. If you have never been before, then you are in for some great memories.

Here is all the information!

When: June 20th (Monday) to 26th (Sunday), Sunday the 26th is the travel day.

Where: We are booked at the Sleep Inn at 222 Jefferson Highway Staunton, VA 24401

Get your reservations in as soon as possible!!! This will allow me to increase the room block when we need more rooms available to the group. Let's sell this place out!!!

To make reservations call 540-887-6500 and pick option 2 or ask for the front desk. Tell them that you want to book a room in the M109Riders group. DO NOT! choose the reservations menu or you will be put to the corporate site--- and you need that hotel extension (front desk) to keep from it getting screwed up. If they say that they are booked, please reply to this post and I will check on it. The rate is $83.00 plus taxes per night and includes breakfast. Some people have expressed that they want to come down earlier or stay later. If that is something that you want to do, you will be extended the group rate. You can cancel up to 24 hours without any charges to you. A complimentary water hose and towels will be provided, as usual, by the hotel.

Below is a couple of things that are extremely important and worth mentioning:

The back of the hotel is reserved for motorcycle parking only. Let the front desk know upon check-in if you have a trailer, they should direct you on where to park. Please see the image on the website home page indicating where you may park. If you park a car, truck or trailer in the back parking lot, you will be asked to move it. We are expecting a lot of motorcycles and need the parking spaces.

We have multiple routes plus some of those routes being reversed. Groups are released at separate times so everyone is not clustered together when heading out. If you have people you want to ride with, find an open route that can accommodate the number of riders you have.

Many of you may have ridden in packs before, but you also may be riding with others who have not. These are mountain roads that are technical in some areas. To be able to enjoy the ride, it's important to get everyone on the same page.

Wow! Im new to the forum and get my new '22 M109R in a week AND i only live 30 minutes from Staunton, VA! Talk about luck! Hell yea, looking forward to this meetup

This meet is a great experience, and you will meet and make lifetime friends. While it is based around some awesome rides in the area, the evenings behind the hotel are as much a part of the meet as the riding.

Over the years there have been barbeques, bands, repair demos, new part releases / introductions, restaurant runs (with police escort), parades through town, parts giveaways, "spirited" drinking (with some pretty funny stories as a result), pranks (like the NO2 bottle installation 🤣), riding contests, and much more that my feeble mind just can't recall.

The guys who setup these meets do it out of a love for our bikes, the sport, and the brotherhood developed throughout the years. They negotiate reduced rates at the hotel, and when restaurant runs were setup in the past, reduced rates for those meals, too.

None of the people involved make a cent on the meet. In fact, I think they probably lay out a good bit of coin to ensure that everyone has a good time. They definitely put in a lot of effort.

Trust me when I say that the Mid-Atlantic Meet is a hell of a good time that you don't want to miss!

All good people Had a blast .Even went to the pre meet in Maggie .

When I talked to the hotel last weekend, there were not many rooms booked---possibly 2 outside of the group, but she is checking on that so they get the group rate. SOOOOOO, get those rooms booked. If they fill up too late, I may not be able to add extra rooms to the group.

Oh, so you gonna just call a brother out huh!? Just for that, I will be bringing the 3 wheeler and bringing the other old guys on theirs too. Going to call and make reservations today. This will make my 6th MAM and on 6 different vehicles (my first one I came on the roush). Been going to the pre-meets since 2008 and now the family already knows what I want for father's day (week of guilt free riding). Going to do the entire week this time for the first time. See you guys Monday afternoon.

Hoping to get some good ideas at the meet. Especially interested in hearing some stock pipes that have been debaffled. I'm thinking of cutting the first 2 walls inside without drilling holes around the cap. I read this way it was a not much louder than stock but was a deeper tone which is what I'm after
