Has anyone tried the TFI Fuel Management system listed on DLP? I've done a site search and have found nothing. I've been researching several fuel systems and decided to call the company, Dobeck Performance, yesterday. The company has their price listed at $245 (DLPs price is $239) and the Dobeck rep told me if you are military or law enforcement, you can get a 20 to 50% discount. Considering I was retired military, the rep stated the cost would be $150 plus shipping. Now I'm not one who jumps at buying the cheapest product 'cause cheaper ain't always better. But that's a great deal & I wanted to know how the system performs before buying it.

I have had the TFI for about a year now with no problems. Even saw an increase in gas mileage. Easy install and set up with the pots on the units and instructions.
I realize a lot of board members sing their praises about Cobra's FI2000R and the Power Commander, but for $100 off the TFI's retail price for retired military, it's pretty hard to pass up. BTW, the rep informed that the company has a newer Generation III model that's not even on the website yet for only $25 more for military. That's $175! Thanks for the input . . . I need a few more positive comments before I make my decision . . . WAYNE109?

Being a novice to the whole fuel management thing . . . what exactly is a "pot?"

A "pot" is just short for a potentiometer. It is an adjustment that can be made on the TFI. There are 4 pots that have led's so you can see when it is activated. All of the information is in the set up instructions and they also have awesome tech support if you need more info. From what I have heard about Cobra's FI2000R, the TFI is very similar. As for the power commanders, Dobek started Dynojet and developed them, so I'm sure he has included some of that knowledge in the TFI.

Thanx nuk! I noticed Mark started Dynojet so I figured I couldn't go wrong. Just a little skittish when investing my hard earned money. You guys are great!
