I was searching Craigslist for an alarm for my 9 and came across this link which said "2007 SUZUKI BOULEVARD - $2700 (MISSION VIEJO)"
Anyways, here is where the link goes. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/ctd/1866663479.html

Thats a sports model, right? I thought they began making our bikes in 2006. I didnt investigate older, lesser powerful :) models.

I am pretty sure that is the c-40. It is a 600 cc bike. That was my dad's first bike at 69 yrs young. Small bike but it runs like a scalded ape!

ummm...it's the S-40. It's a great beginner bike and yes, the Boulevard is a series of bikes...just like Ninja, GSXR, or Bandit...there are sizes from the 40 series up to the 109 series.
Actually, that's not too bad of a deal for that bike...I'd probably try to talk them down to around 2K if I were trying to buy it though...just on principle...

When I used to sell Zuk's the Savages were the bike you could count on.
Yup you could count on having the new owner back in the dealership
asking to get a different bike after 2 weeks of riding it.
And it was always the same 2 reasons..."shakes the crap out of me" or
"so slow it can't get out of it's own way". The dealership I worked for
never wanted to trade or buy back any of them for reselling as used.
After we had one used for more than a year it never had even a looker at it.
So the owner never would trade for a used one after that, and always
complained that the Zuk rep made him take 1-2 of the things every year.
Truthfully, it's on my short list of would not own.
