If anyone is coming to Street Vibrations in Reno ( Sept 20-24th) http://www.road-shows.com/street_vibrations.htm
Let me know., maybe we can hook up for a 109 cruise!

I live in South Lake Tahoe but will be in Reno (60 miles) each evening to check out the bikes. I am commuting up and down this week to Reno for the Hot August Nights car shows. There is some incredible machinery there!
If you are coming there is a great ride around the lake which is about 75 miles for a total of about 100 miles with breathtaking views.
I have a silver 06 and have been loving the comute each night after work and at 6:30am back up to work.

I wasn't in the market for a bike, in fact my 19 yr old son asked me to look at a Yam R6 he wanted and I went to the dealership to make sure he didn't buy it. I was the salesman's worst nightmare and made it quite clear he wasn't going to get the bike unless the deal was much sweeter than he could do. It was then that I saw the M109R!!!! It was hopeless. I got home that night and had the Screensaver changed to show a sweet photo of the 109. 2 weeks later I picked up the Silver one!!!
My son had bought a R6 for a great deal privately and I had no reason anymore not to get a bike. ( I had wanted one for years and had had many dirt bikes, but as my son is an extreme skier I didn't get one as I didn't want him to get one.)

I never rode it, never started it, but knew it had to come home with me! This bike rocks!

It's the best thing I ever did. The grin factor is amazing.

Maybe we can hook up down at Street V. If you get up to SLTahoe, I run the Lakeside Marina near the casinos in the summer so drop in and say hi!
I maybe going to Virginia City this Sunday with a friend who has a VTX.
