Nice summer day, i was coming home from helping an older woman fix a few boards on her deck that were sticking up and causing a hazard for her. She was in her 70's and not in the best health. How could i not, you know? So, bike (C90T) had a few tools in it, yada yada. About halfway home there is this road that has a speed limit of 35, and believe it or not i was going 30 on a 9! I know, i know.. "Big, you liar!" but i really was. Police report and came showed! Meanwhile im on the helm bluetooth with my friend yappin about this and that.. I decide to switch to the left lane because its the inside corner and it is clear in front. So rounding the corner there is a back alley to a gas station, im passing that when all of a sudden the lady in the massive SUV to my right decides its time to make a left turn. As it was i was between her and that left turn in my own lane. 0.2 seconds later im on the ground and my bike is totaled! Yup.. So i heal up, little bit of permanent damage but nothing i cant live with. After all that's the risk we accept on 2 wheels right!? Btw gear SAVED MY ASS. Wear your gear! Month and a half goes by, I'm back on my little single cyl 650 from sazuki. My lovely little thumper that sounded like the worlds most pissed off lawnmower, even had a super trap on it.. (not my doing)

That lasts a month or so as i browse craigslist and facebook looking for a new bike. Honestly i was looking for another c90, somehow at this point i had never heard of a C109! But i had run across one on there, and decided to look it up. SRK cycles, which another person just posted a video of right on here, made a video. In that video he is saying "its a great bike, true power house, torque monster" ect ect. Yeah okay, i mean he is trying to sell it, no hate to him, but they are going to say that about any large bike... Right? ....RIGHT!?

So, a few messages later and i show up to see this bike on my thumpythump savage. I get to the guys house and the bike is in his garage, door open. The VERY FIRST THING i notice is that tire.. my brain goes "...Well shit, thats a big tire." Then i start looking and "HOLY CRAP ITS STOCK SIZE!?"

Yup, i stare in shock at the biggest monster ive ever seen in my entire life, and the guy absolutely grills me on technique questions and such. I was very confused as to why.. He even made sure i had a garage to keep it in, ect. This thing was his baby and only had 6k miles on it. Guy was super cool, made me test ride it a few times, following him. Never really got a chance to get on it or nothing. We stop and he says "Okay, you wait here, im going to go up the road and when i get a good distance away, you can give her some juice. But be careful.. ..please."

So he goes up the road a bit.. i see him flash his brakes and i said "Okay, guess hes ready for me" And about 8 seconds later im going "Shit shit shit slow down slow down omg~!!" and i was RIGHT up his ass. So to all those warnings i read and watched that said "This bike has serious power, please be careful!" ...Yeah, no crap! They were not telling a lie!

Okay thats the story, you are clearly too bored if you took time to read this junk! lol!
Have a good day and stay safe everyone!

Nice! I have a similar story. I had a M90. I loved that bike but always drooled over the M109R. I would probably still have the M90 but on the way home for lunch one day a left turning vehicle got me. Three weeks in the hospital and after a lot of physio I found my M109R. While I was in the hospital I was done riding. Its surprising how you can forget the pain and take up something again that you have always loved!
