Anyone having this intermittent issue? When bike is hot, hit start button, starter hits a "dead spot". Flick the switch again, and it goes.

As stated, happens frequently. Might as well tell you about the high idle as you will experience that too. Start bike up and it revs at 2k+ rpms. If so, turn it off, wait a second, turn the key back on and let the tank prime and the gauges sweep and fire back up. Another little quirk on a great bike

I just let mine run (2,500 to 3,000 rpm) and after 20 sec's it idles at ~900. It didn't start doing this until ~25,000 miles.

Anyone with an idea why this has started?
