I recently did a post on Metzler tires for the C109R/T. The speedo was originally off by 5mph with the OEM tires. When I went to Metzler, I was off (reading to fast) by 7.5mph due to the lower profile of the rear tire. I stumbled across an online review: [/FONThttp://www.wrrdualsport.com/reviews-intro/bikeparts/97-speedodrdfor a speedometer calibration device. It looked like these were just for sport bikes so I went to the manufacturer's website:[/COLORhttp://www.12oclocklabs.com/& e-mailed a request last Saturday to see if they had a model for cruiser bikes. Would you believe that within an hour, Brooks at 12oclock called me on the phone to see how he could help. He had me take some pictures of the sensor wiring & check the polarity. He calls me back on Sunday& says he will make one up for me & ship out on Monday. Talk about awesome customer service!!! Anyway, no sooner did I receive the "DRD" from him, he follows up with an e-mail to make sure everything went OK
It took roughly 10 minutes to install & program & works awesome:a18: Well worth the $79.95 investment, especially here in Arizona where we have all those blasted:cophoto radar set ups. Even without changing tire sizes, I strongly urge you guys to look into this since most speedo's are off quit a bit
right from the factory.
