I'm in. Then I can find a way to loose the rear fender.
Been looking for a vertical curved side mount. State law says mine has to be lighted though. Is this do-able?

Yes. There are several alternatives. Check cruisercustomizing.com
toneout, did you fabricate yours or did you buy it? Did you completely remove the rear fender, or did you have to cut something?
I'm in can't wait to get rid of the plate blocking the view of the awsome tire.
Aren't there any sidemounts thet connect under the side chrome fender supports?
Looks like there is room..Maybe tied into bar near helmet lock.

The whole side mount on my bike is handmade by Metu and myself. It is made from sheet stainless, hand cut and hand bent. I had to remove my whole rear cowl and inner rear fender to cut the plastic beaver tail.
So you had to cut it, it couldn't be removed for some reason. Whe I looked at it, it looked like it was a separate piece from the inner fender

Mount looks like a better alternative than using 1 bolt on the hub. Problem I have with it is the 35 + shipping . Maybe 35 free shipping.

It's 15 minutes worth of work if you making one, do them in a run, other than paint dry time around 3-5 minutes + a couple bucks in material. 5" chunk of stainless, plasma cutter, drill press, press w/ a 90 die, and debur and paint ?

The beaver tail portion is molded to the inner fender. Here's a pic that lamonster posted awhile back that illustrates the two pieces after they have been cut apart. I hope it helps.

Six, I am interested but I would like to see a full side and rear view. Does the curved plate holder (same as I am looking at) still reach out past
the hub?? When I purchase I am going to re-drill the 3 holes where the arm attaches to the curved holder to move it in closer.
This mount would be my preferred method IF it is no too far forward for what I want to do.
