Hey guys, I was in the market for some shorty levers with adjustment on both sides like I’ve had on my other sport bikes and knew some guys on here were looking for some other lever options as well. I figured I’d throw this out there and maybe help others looking for another option for our bikes. They will need the typical shaving of the brake switch perch but other than that they are spot on. If anyone’s interested I’ll post the sellers info that’s listed on amazon and eBay. Cheers!

I've had those for a while now , I put them on all of my bikes , one of which has $100 a piece CRG levers. The brake light switch was fine on the 9 , but I had to shave the lever where it contacts master cylinder's plunger , it wasn't uncovering the hole when the brake was released.

I like those. Does it make the clutch harder to pull since there is less leverage?
I don’t notice it being harder to pull (but I’m 6’3 240lbs) so could be something that I just don’t notice. The reason I got them is for more adjustability and the look, that being said if you have smaller hands it might be a stretch for your hands since the closest setting is still pretty far but works for me.
joe and ghostry can i have a link to both of your levers please ?
Here’s the link and the seller is super helpful, he sent me pics and reassured me they would fit since they are a manufacturing shop and make all sorts of bike parts.

Stick with quality levers. I have had GSXRs for a long time and have heard of issues that people have had from using cheap levers from ebay and amazon. Its a popular topic on GSXR forums. Different issues actually causing brakes to drag and even lock up. Yes, brake lever related. Im new to the M109r but I would advise to use higher quality parts here, you get what you pay for. And don’t play around with cheap brake parts.

I agree,
The OP has already encountered an issue just days after mounting them.
Here is the link to the thread he started today regarding the fitment of the levers.

No one else makes the type of levers the OP and I prefer , so I took a chance on Chinese. The levers are exactly what we were looking for , they just needed a little fine tuning. I don't like big levers like most bikes come with. These are for a riding style , not just looks.

Yes just a heads up if you get these you will need to shave a bit off the brake lever where it contacts the brake switch and on the clutch side i had to use a bit of JB Weld steel stick to extend and then grind flat where it meet the clutch sensor switch on the bottom of the lever. The way they come, they are too short and will make the ecu think the clutch is engaged and throw an FI light like i had. Thanks to all the great knowledge of the members here i found out the issue.

Like some people are saying you get what you pay for but if you like the look of these they can work just need a bit of garage work at home.
