Why is the shifting so quick on this bike? according to the manual you are supposed to be in 5th at 31mph. What will happen if you shift by the sound of the engine instead of by the manual. 1st 10-15, 2nd 20ish, 3rd 30 ish ....etc

I think it's most important to shift according to your riding style. I'm never in 5th at 31mph. Usually in 2 or 3, but to each his own. If you have a slower paced cruiser mentality, then you'll probably shift sooner, and might be on the wrong bike! This bike deserves to be riden hard and fast and not in 5th till 75! :doorag: Have fun on it and shift when it feels right to you!!

Listen to the sound, it will let you know what gear you should be in. The warranty will protect you, how can they know the speeds you use to change gears????
