Anyone ever have the secondary drive unit apart? If so how easily does it come apart. I got it off bike. Now I need to take it apart to put new O rings & seal in it.

I'm not sure... but I know there is one really strong spring in it and I suspect it takes a special tool to hold it together while removing or installing some of the other parts.

Did you take it apart or just pull it off of the bike?
I only took it off bike. Looks like I might need some special tool to dissassemble. There's a threaded ring with an internal hex, I don't know if that needs to come off or it comes off with end plate that is held on with (4) cap screws.
