The Roadburner has a baffle. They rumble nice. Not too loud at idle or cruising. They bark when you crank it up. Here is a picture where you can see the baffle

I purchased the Velocity Pros. I loved the look of them and had to have them. However I have not installed them yet to how loud they will be. The two systems that you are looking at are very diffrent. Maybe you can narrow you decision down by thinking about the look, power, sound diffrences. Good luck.

I've got a set of the Road Burners also. Like Bad Irish said. Low deep rumble during idle, but when you get on it, people know. As you are riding you hardly hear it. I wear a half helmet, I hear more wind noise than exhause noise. Unless I get on it.
I'm not too sure if you are able to take the baffels out of these or not. I just might have to go out and try. See how loud that bad boy would be debaffled.

The baffles are removable. It is crazy loud without it. I started the bike in the garage without the baffles. It hurt my ears when I cranked it up. Took it for a quick ride around the block. To loud for me!

have the velocity pro on my bike. the five inch exhaust is huge but matches the bike well since the rest of the bike is huge. these have the best sound from this bike i think i've heard too. they sound great at cruising speed and have a nice muscle car sound to them. def have good volume when you want it tho but not too obnoxious that you'll be annoyed by them. i also looked at the big shots but i feel they look the same as the stock pipes. even though the stockies look great, if you're gonna change them, make it a visual change as well. be sure to pick up a power commander as well for the added power. you won't regret it i promise. and good luck. now you'll have good looks and good sound. loud pipes save lives. if they don't see you, they'll hear you. :D
