Do any of you know if these types bags..Cortech, Givi 421, etc. will fit with the strap that connects the two bags going under the rear seat cowling? It looks like the connecting straps would scratch the heck out of the cowling over time if you ran them over the top of it. :dontknow:

I have this http://store.dsrpowersports.com/cospsa.html set of Cortech bags. I wanted something I can take off, but that holds enough stuff if I need to take stuff. They can hold a fresh set of jeans, extra jacket, 1st aid kit, rain suit and assorted other goodies. Best yet I can leave them at home without a lot of hassle. Oh and I think they don't look bad either...JMHO

I have the Cortech bags. It is a great 3-pc modular system and holds a ton of stuff. I traveled to Sturgis and those bags held it all (including a sleeping bag). They don't look too bad either.
