I just got a set of used Rivco risers that I got for cheap money. The only problem is there are light scratches on the sides in the chrome. They dont look good enough to install the way they are. I was thinking of powdercoating them black. Powdercoating costs me nothing FYI. I am open to any suggestions. Take a look at my bike and tell me what you think.

Wouldn't it have to follow the color of the 'thing' sticking out of the triple tree? Not unless if you are painting that in black too.:D

With the color of your bike, I would say black. I would look much better than with either silver or "fake" chrome:dontknow:.

Bump and I am now thinking of stripping the chrome off and polishing the outsides and powdercoating the insides of the cutouts with black.

if your powder coating is "free"

i'd say black & while your at it pull some other chrome off like the rear fender stays and do them as well

I REALLY think more black accents with the color of your bike would be :bigthumbsup:
