Does anybody know if it is possible to remove the spray tint used on the tail light with a buffer ???

Using a buffer risks melting into the plastic if you pause too long in one spot.

Trust me.

This is why I do not have a stock tail light.

should jsut use some nail polish remover should come right off
:agree:

But let's call it acetone, which sounds less girly and is available in the paint section of home depot or any hardware store or even Pep Boys and the like.

if it's that rattle can spray can crap people are using, rubbing alcohol will wipe it right off without damaging the plastic

If it's ruined, try sanding it down with increasingly finer grades of sandpaper, then finally using plastic polish. You ought to be able to save it.

I goofed up some turn signal lenses trying to tint them. I cleaned them with acetone and thought they were ruined. I buffed them with 3M Finesse-it II finishing compound and they turned out great.
