Has anyone removed thier Suzuki decal from the rear fender?

I was looking to take mine off but it looks like it was applied then clear-coated over. Am I right?

Any tips?

Yea that was what I thought just by looking at it. I'll try the heat gun tomorrow and see if I can Buff the edge off.

Used WD40 on mine. No clearcoat on it but it was a unholy B:edit:CH to remove. Never thought of heat, great idea.

My wife helped me...watch acrylic add-on nails! Scratched the clearcoat and I've been trying to polish it out ever since so I don't have to repaint.

Oh well, live & learn.

I'm leaving the Suzuki sticker. After picking those butt ugly stickers off of the tank and leaving little scratches, I'm done. My dealer was kind enough to buff out the tank scratches (at no charge) so I'm not pushing my luck.
