Here's my version of the quick change back rest with bags.

The only time I put the bags on is if the wife is riding with me. Sooo, I bolted them to the back rest and made it one unit. With the slots it the bracket, it's just a quick 4 minutes to put on the back seat, backrest and bags.

All I need to do now is loosen the 4 bolts on the tail and slide the backrest on with the bags on it already. I stiil need to have the spacers chromed. I'm going to machine the tail spacers to have a recess on them so I can use a bungee on them when the backrest isn't on the bike.

There were just too many spacers and lining up the bolts without scratching the bike. Now it's REAL easy.

Now you have me thinkin' thats what I should do for next bike trip with the wife.

that looks awesome. I am in the middle of making a set of bolts with spacers and a threaded end, and a threaded end cap for the end. I will get some pics on here when completed. Looks awesome!!

i like it, was already considering something for my C/RT for quick release ,seeing yours was helpful
