I just sold one of my Century Coronado boats ( the yellow '73 on my website http://www.centurycoronado.com )to a guy in NY and have been thinking of delivering it myself with a UHaul, loading up the M109 and riding back down the East Coast to Florida and then along the Southern States to Arizona, the Grand Canyon and back home to Tahoe.

A buddy with a FZ 1 Yamaha said he might be up for it too and it would make a great last trip before winter sets in and the snow flies.

Any ideas of "Must See" places I should plan for along the way? It would be cool to hook up with a few of you along the way too!

if you come along I-10 through the southern states you should come through Gulfport to the casinos and then New Orleans.   I live in Gulfport and  would like to hook up along your way through and make the ride as far as New Orleans. I know a couple of riders to my west that would probably jump in for a ride over to N.O. as well.

if ya make it down to south Florida I say head to Key West.... I love going over the land bridges and HUGE bridges to Key West...

Other than that I say meet up with a bunch of guys from here or where ever and have them leed ya to the local hidden treasures...

If you've never done it before (or even if you have) -- Head for Front Royal, VA. on yer way down the Eastern Seabord. Hop on the Skyline Drive/ Blueridge Parkway and stay with it as far South as you can/ want to. If you commissioned somebody to "build a road for motorcycling" that would be it. Really beautiful in the Fall.

Looks like the ride is off :(
The guy backed out of the purchase of the boat so unless something else comes up soon, I won't be able to do it... Bummer!
