Position Wire

Looking to ID the position wire in M109R 2019.
I’m Installing Revo Knightrider Halo Headlight which will allow me to turn on/off the background color and/or the halo.

Any ideal exactly where this wire is located in the front of the bike because the lights wire in Revo’s video (
) is associated with the RIGHT Turn Signal. Is this the “position” wire???

Need help asap, please

At first I thought it would be the hi/low headlight wires, which to me are "position" wires. I don't see it hooking to the turn signal wires as then it would only work when that side was active. Maybe they mean the running light wire for the small light located below the headlight bulb? Europe has those on the front, here we just have the park light wires on the front. If I had to guess, it would hook to the park light which could be tapped to on either side, and is always active when the bike is running.

Thanks Zoom I’m all set. Now just need to know if the off switch for the angel eye and background color should tap in after the fuse or before the fuse?
The wire you are looking for is the Orange/Green wire and it's 15A fuse is labeled "Signal". Should be enough to run everyting unless you upgraded your horn with using a relay. (horn is on the smae circuit)

And the Orange/Green is at each front turn signal and easy to get to. The ground is the Black/White wire.

If I have to tap into the OEM wiring, I will normally try to do it on the device (load) side of the electrical connectors.
That way you are not cutting into the main wiring harness when possible.
So if you also were to follow that principle, you would tap one of the green wires going to the turn signals.
Still the same circuit you were told above, just a different location for the tap.

hey I’m sure you can assist. I keep blowing the fuse when I hit the off switch for the background light on the Revo knight rider headlight. The vid says I can install a switch for the angel eye, background and the headlight. The video is good but not good enough where it really shows where they are hooking up the switches. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have not installed the Revo light, but if you can post some photos of the light, the wires coming out of it and explain how you have it connected now, I am sure we can help you figure out the issue.
