Wow, I just called Kosman Specialties about a price quote and they stated that they are in the middle of price increase for the 9'r wheel widening from $425 to $595!!!

That is a damn shame...although not as bad a price as possible, still not good. $400ish seemed to be about right. Guess this poor man will have to wait a bit longer cause that is bordering on to much.

Big Daddy, can you see or feel the welding beeds? If I chromed them would it be covered?

I was looking into a similar mod myself.. have bent rim so I figure good time to widen as well...

Question is ... how is the handling.. is it much more different n the turns?
can ya still dip it? (and I mean the bike )

Little precision here please , if I'm going to bring
the rim to the machine shop , have it cut on both sides
fill in the widening , how wide is the result going to be
Is the 10 inch measure inside the rim ,
or is it the total outside measure ?
i see in the pictures of first post a "10" and an "11"
in the rim .....:redfaced:

Intake and fog light

With my last mod for the winter, I am taking the plunge and modifying the rear to put a 300MM tire on. Found a local fabricator that's widening my rim to 10 inches and notching out my swingarm to make room for MAX tire. I saw that RAW DESIGNS does it in their kits (swingarm) so now I dropped off my parts and wait for the fab work. When it's all said and done it should be just under a grand including the tire.

It's done now and the grin on my face is as wide as the rear tire!!!

I like your intake and the fog light mod. what's was the cable from your intake tube? did you make the tube or bought as a kit. please advice.
