Did my first polishing project this weekend, tell me what you think. I am thinking about the Hub or the Risers next!

Watch out, polishing is addictive.

I started with my stator cover and ended up doing my trees, forks and hub.

It is so worth it in the end though.

That's the piece I started with about two years ago, and I haven't stopped since. :D

Great job, looks really nice. That coating they use is tough. :bigthumbsup::bigthumbsup:

Alright... this might be a stupid question, but what are you guys using to polish?

I started with some pretty coarse (100 or 120)sand paper to get the original coating off. Then gradually used finer (all the way to 600)paper to get out the scratches. Then switched to Mother's Mag Polish and a lot of rubbing. Mine looks the same as his. It was about a one day project all told.
