Just use the standard NGK's as recommended by the manual

Some people step down to a colder plug when using a TRE (timing retard eliminator) to reduce the chance of pinging but I'm not sure it's necessary.

You aren't going to gain anything by looking for the newest "miracle" plug (Splitfire comes to mind). These are gimmicks and I have yet to see any legitimate testing that demonstrates noticeable performance gains from plugs other than the factory recommended ones.

I changed the original plugs around 10,000 miles and they still looked good and the bike ran fine. I've now got another 10,000 miles on the colder plugs and I'm not going to change them for another 5,000 miles or so.

Even with the colder plugs mine still pings a little.
