Mine were tight but not that tight!!! make sure you are useing metric allen wrenches!! good luck brohas anyone had trouble with pinch bolts? tried it a few times and starting to round on me. dang this metal is really soft.
Every bolt on this bike has a torque value and would be tight but not that tight. I would say that the tool you're using is not very good and is causing the problem. Get yourself a set of allen sockets. Craftsman work very well. Using the allen sockets on a ratchet will get those pinch bolts right out. If you're using T-handles, that could be your problem too. The T-handles just don't give you good leverage and if they are not seated into the bolt right they will round out the hex super quick. With all the hex fastners on on the 9 a good set of metric allen sockets will pay for themselves in no time.has anyone had trouble with pinch bolts? tried it a few times and starting to round on me. dang this metal is really soft.
