I had both the airbox and the throttle body off si i could get to the hard to reach hose clamp. I replaced them both and re assembled everything according to the manual and the PCIII instructions.
The bike starts right up but the FI light is on. I shut it off multiple times and it did not help.
I believe I hear some kind of clicking??? sort of under the tank to the front.

I am still going over the instructions/manual I followed to see if I think I missed something.

If anyone knows of any Gotcha's please let me know

I think so. I went very slowly and checked every thing off....

Was there something else to do? Is the stock map already installed? I did not add anything yet.
could it be that easy

you might want to take the tank off again and double check everything.

OK so lets get something straight.
Where I come from

FRONT IS FRONT!!!

I went very slowly through all of this, especially since I also removed the throttle body.
I checked all of my steps along the way. I had also already familiarized myself with the manual...

Which way is front again??

so as I was taking everything apart again I remembered the only place there was a real question on the install.
When you hook up the connectors to the different cylinders.

After it tells you to remove the connectors it says this....

Plug the connectors from the PCIII inline
of the stock injectors and the
stock wiring harness (Fig.C).

Orange - cylinder 1- front
Yellow - cylinder 2 - rear

OK, well I thought Cylinder #1 is actually the rear cylinder and #2 is the front....Hmmm

Well I look at the pic and thought I saw orange at the front (actually #2) and I figured there is NO WAY THEY DONT KNOW WHERE THE FRONT IS!!!
I can believe they did not know which cylinder was what... but the HAVE TO KNOW THE FRONT!!!

They dont know the front from Jack.

SO... I hooked it up wrong. They actually meant Cylinder 1 (THE ONE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF YOU... CLOSEST TO YOU YOU MORON!!!)
As soon as I remembered I knew I had found my problem.

It now runs without the FI light. It is not fully re assembled yet so I have not ridden it.
