The Orchard Beach Classic Car, Truck, and
Motorcycle Show is a one day fundraising event
which began in 2001. NYPD Highway Patrol Unit #1
Retired Officer, Joseph Caldwell, organized the
event in an effort to raise money for the families of
police officers who were killed in the September
11th disaster. With much success, this benefit show
has become an annual event. We have been called
the largest one day classic car show on the East
Coast and would like to thank you for your support in
making our charitable efforts such a success!

orchard Beach

I use to live in the South Bronx and would go to Orchard beach all the time. Man I miss it. It was party city. that was back in the day late 70' to 80's. Played a lot of basketball, racketball, handball...those were the days. I wish i could come to this but i'm way down in florida.

Hey Easy, Times have changed there. Police has beefed up security there for those few ******** idiots who would scare the females off the board walk with them super soakers. Gang activity is way down. Drinking still heppens but you need to be discrete. I helps to be on the job as I am. Police has made it family oriented again. The bands weren't playing this year. Must be due to budget cuts. All and all, It's still a great place to hang in the summer. The party moves to City Island afterwoods!! GIGIDY!!
