Nice work. I love that you are doing stuff in the house. Keep it up and I can’t wait to see the final product! If you already have the fuel filter, you might as well put it in. I would stay with oem for something like that, but thats just me.

cheers .. yeah im keeping it in the house until my wheels are ready at the weekend then i will build the bike up again over the next couple of weeks .... fuel filter .. i read a lot of good things about the copy filters on here so i bought them from china and i hope they are ok ....

another bit done .. just to fit the gas tank and side casings but i'm waiting on the speedometer casing to come back from England as i'm having something unique done to it .... the fork tubes i bought from Mean Cycles didn't fit my bike as my lower tree was a lot thicker than other bikes, the guy that makes them said he has never seen that problem before and has sold them all over the world without any problems .. i had to get a mm or two milled off the tree so as the tubes fitted ... should be finished next week and then it's just waiting on the weather after that ...

made these on the lathe a couple of days ago just got done painting them (8 coats over 2 days) gonna fit them at the weekend ... they are sided as the hole in the axle is bigger on one side than the other .. 6mm threaded bar through the axle and screw them on with a dab of blue threadlock ... bought the lathe last year so i'm a novice but getting there ...
