I've seen the turn out pipes people are putting on the stock exhaust setups but I'll be damned if Im paying $300 for some slip-on tips! Can anyone tell me the Ø of the pipe where the slip-on attaches??

It would probably be easier to get a cheap set of calipers and measure where you want to mount them. Or wrap a flexible tape measure around them and divided the circumference by 3.1416 to get the diameter. Or they have flexible tapes that actually measure the diameter when you wrap it around the pipe.

Those scalloped turn outs,I forget what they were called, had instructions to cut the pipes at specific locations so they could be mounted and either be screwed on or tack welded. If you're doing your own, you can add them anywhere on the pipe.

Scorpions are 4 inch and yes you ahve to cut at specific spots and then still you will have to dig out a little bit of the tube to fit them. I personally love them but might find some 4 inch small mufflers over winter

Yeah, that's it. You'll get old some day too and forget all this stuff. 😊
Some day?!
I'm as old as Moses's toes, and cornier, too! 😆😁
