I can not even list, in a single sitting, all of the mods there.

I have hundreds of hours in.

The paint job is not the one I put 60 hours into before deciding I did not like it and just went flat black.

But it did keep me from going crazy this winter and I think it came out alright.

Answers to the questions that I have been PM'd:

The headlight is from a Victory Vegas Jackpot.

The front turn signals are flush mount chrome lens signals from some sport bike modified to work.

The grill is custom and sits in a one-piece radiator surround.

Yes, the shots were taken with the air-ride dropped, so no, the pipe is not low.

Insulated my garage door to work warmer in the winter, so they are covered on the inside with plastic .

Looks great and I can appreciate the time you have put into it. Now it's time to ride that darn thing!!! Times-a-waisting! :doorag:

Funny how changing the most recogizable part of the M109 (The headlight cowl) back to a classic headlight completely changes the look of the bike. It does look more custom and less M109ish, but still looks good. Nice job!

I think I'm going to go satin black on my bike repaint with a few other red accents just to set it off.

Nice work! It is just incredible. Can't wait to see it in June.

One note: You should find a chrome brake fluid resevoir.
I did say that I was not done yet.

I was going to polish the controls, but was also thinking of paining them black to bring a little black to the bars.

Without a decision, and riding season upon us, I figured getting it back on the road was more important at this point.

Not my style per se ,but you've don't a ton of nice work on it  that will set it apart from all the others. What will you be doing in lieu of a tach and idiot lights?
I have no need for a tach, but I replaced the idiot lights with single LED indicators in the speedo bezel.

If you want one, let me know. I have enough material left over for at least 2 and maybe 3 more.

I am going to start out by saying i have never been a huge fan of flat black..... BUT......

That look awsome.. not sure if it is the flat black setting off the chrome or the chrome setting off the flat black... but i wouldn't have any problems cruising that around....

Looks Great, can't wait to see the finished product when all is said and done. Enjoy the ride.. it is deff worth being proud of.
