I live in a condo that does not have a garage. I do have assigned parking so I recently bought a CycleShell Cruiser covering system. It works great. My old bike I covered with a fitted cover and was constantly removing rust caused by condensation under the cover. Sounds to me that you need to buy a house with that bike. You need the detached garage for your bike and you at times.
