I have posted a couple replies but thought I should introduce myself.

Name is Kevin live in MD, will be 40 this month. Own a 1996 Buell S-1 Lightning that has custom paint and engine work. Fast but not very comfy. I am a plant health physicist at the local nuclear plant and also do web work for my neighbor who makes performance parts for cars.Â

I am currently looking to replace my Buell with something more my style and so far the m109r is it. If I can get my nieghbor to get one too we will have some cool aftermarket parts for these bikes. http://www.reichardracing.com

Once my starter is replaced the Buell goes up for sale.

Yes, that is a nice Buell.... The riding experience will be drastically different from that to the M109R... and I bet the 109R is actually faster in a straight line... barring major mechanical mods to the Buell..
Buell has had cylinders bored out and new heads with 10.5:1 postons installed so its at 90hp and 87 ftlbs to rear tire and 459 lbs.
