Yep, the title says it all. I been around here a long time, and been through many bikes. The M109 was one of the best. That is obvious because I have had 4 of them. For the past 2 MAM's, I was sporting my 2010 yamaha vmax. The bike had everything that I wanted, and more. The power was unbelievable, and handling was right on par for my style of riding. But 2 weeks ago I did a 200 mile ride with about 15 other guys in a local group. The next day I was a little sore and stiff. As I was doing my morning walk, I reflected on things and realized that I was the 2nd oldest guy in the group, and the oldest was on a spyder. Even 5 of the younger guys were on cruizers (harleys of course). I come to the conclusion that I am needing to look into something more comfortable for my current condition. Something with more wind protection, a little storage space, and I also wanted something with a lowered seat height and could still move when I twist the throttle. I looked at the 2018+ goldwing. Unfortunately the used ones are selling as new, and the new ones are actually selling above sticker. A friend of mine (also a member here) told me to check into the BMW K1600B. I thought, BMW, that is going to be way out of my price point. But, it seems that they are actually going for less than a similarly equiped Goldwing. After a bit of searching, I picked up this 2018 with under 8k miles and about $2500 worth of extras. Did about 220 miles total this weekend, and all I can say is "WOW". This thing is about to be all 16 of my previous bikes combined, with their best characteristics to the forefront. So, I will be seeing you guys in June at the MAM in the new "BLACKLIGHTNING"!

Congratulations BL. That's a Sweet looking ride Bro. As Shane stated, it looks quite a bit like a Honda F6B, which was the first thing that came to mind, when I saw the first pic you provided. :) (y)

Awesome bike bro! If I remember correctly, that's an inline 6 so it should be silky smooth. Be safe and enjoy! (y) (y) (y)
