Had it done at Dayton bikeweek. By smokin Gunz. They travel to all the big events. I watched them install. 10 orange LED's installed to frame with two way tape and liquid adhesive. One rubberized push button switch installed the same way right underneath the plastic molding behind the right side of gas tank. Suggestion: if you have it done or do it yourself put the switch on the left side this way at dusk if your riding you don't have to take your hand off the throttle while cruzin ;) I'll be switching mine over soon. Small transformer and 10 amp fuse hooked up next to battry. Years ago I use to install everything on my rides. I've gotten lazy over the years :D . I choose orange because all the shows I go to red, purple, and blue seem to be the fad here in Florida and in Tampa they give you a hard time if your riding with emergency colors and purple is so close to blue it's just not worth it and I'm not to big on purple anyway. With orange I can cruise all night long with no problems and it helps our senior citizens see a little better. I also watched them install hyper white on a silver V rod that looked good as well. 8)

Re: My silver steed with neons (Toneout)

Unfortunetly I do not do it myself. I should it would save me a bunch of cash. I just don't find the time to tinker as much these day's. Anyway I was checking out your profile and see that we are neighbors. Wednesday nights in St. Pete. Bike night at Quaker Steak and Lube from 5 to 9 pm. There is a vender who installs neons. I will be there tonight I'll get the info for you and post up tomorrow morning. The other option is Smokin Gunz but the next time they'll be out is for Biketoberfest would be alot closer to you but a much longer wait.

We too have a local bike night. I was considering going this week and seeing if they have a vendor there. I want consider waiting and having Kuryakyn install one of their sets at biketoberfest. They have some really neat neons too. I can't remember if install was free or not with them. Probably not, nothing in life is free.

We have a few members from the Florida area. Maybe we should plan a GTG and meet each other. Just a thought.

We'll just have to come up with a location that's in the middle for everyone. Old Town in Kissimmee is usually a good spot. It's easy to get to from major roads and they are used to lots of bikes. I'll start a thread to gauge interest.
