Greetings!

I wanted to know if anyone out there has driving lights on their 9.
I've been looking for additional lights for my 9 and surfing the net I ran across Martin Fabrication, they specialize in MC driving lights. Here is the website info:

www.martinfabrication.com

They do carry a light for the 9, the pricing is well under $150 bucks. I'd like to know if anyone has ever heard of or have dealt with this company. Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop! Take care stay safe and enjoy the ride!

I like the driving light fixtures. But I can guarantee both the halogen and HID versions get hot enough to fry your noodle if you touch one after it's been running a while.

As for the LED lights. There 1 watt LED lights are a joke. The lumen output around 70 lumen for a driving light is comical at best. DO NOT buy them!

They should offered them with SSC P7 LEDs, then they would be worthy. At 900 lumen, those things are blinding bright.

The SSC P7 is one of the brightest LEDs available. Put (3) of them together and your coming close to the lumen output of a HID at just 3.7 volts/3 Amps and no where near the heat. But you need the supporting electronics to ensure they are supplied the correct voltage and current to operate properly.

Doing a little more research. I have found some new LEDs with higher output.

Two new choices are now available.

Luminus SST-50 White Series LEDs
High Output - 550 lumens (6500K at high efficiency) or as much as 1250 lumens (6500K at high output)!

Luminus SST-90 White Series LEDs
High Output - 1000 lumens (6500K at high efficiency) and up to 2250 lumens (6500K at high output)! FRACKIN A!!

Both of these would match a 6000K HID headlight perfectly...

LEDs are around $40 each. The LED driver circuit is around $35.

2500 lumen LEDs are like $150 but these are as bright as HID headlights!!!
