It's been awhile since I last posted. Since the house burned down, I have been working my fingers to the bone rebuilding:nojoke: and when I get a chance to turn on the puter I'm too tired to type.
Last nite I turned on the puter and went straight here only to find a PM from ooinkk (Rob) telling me that a gift certificate was waiting for me at DPL! That pretty much made me speechless. I told my wife and she said "you mean that someone you never met in person sent you a GC for bike parts? I looked at her and said "Yep!"
She then asks "How much?" (Woman for you-lol) I told her I dont know and it doesnt matter-that someone half way across the Country that I only know from this forum cared and thought enuff about me too do something so great and cool speaks volumes of his (Rob) charactor.
My wife looks at me and says "Is that a tear in your eye?' I had to explain it was sweat and that men dont get teary eyed.....
Rob you are the man, Buddy! Anytime Anywhere if I can be there in your hour of need- I WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Side note- I found out my buddy who gave me a mobile home had had it sold and needed the money so I refused taking it-Couldnt do that to a friend no matter how much he persisted I take it. So, I built a small house with a large bedroom with cathedral ceiling like the wife likes ! From dusk til dawn I have been 'slavin' let me tell you! I cant find a part of my body that doesnt hurt and make noises it shouldnt....lol
Also, I made a deal with the Navajo Reservation too buy logs this june. 120 logs for a grand-sweet deal! So looks like my building days aint over-that dream of building my loghome (two story 40 by 40) is looking good:bigthumbsup:
Gonna need a vacation soon...lol...Hows the ridin' back east guys? Hopefuly I will be in Ohio and Pa this July!
