I welded up a frame the size of my license plate with ears centered on the sides of it for the turn signals. Then after I checked out the angle I wanted it to sit on the existing frame I cut 2.4" off the existing frame which left about 1/4" of the weld holding the tubes of the existing frame together. Then I welded my plate frame to the existing frame. I found a three LED light at Cycle Gear which with some modification by a razor blade and some rtv to seal it up fit right in the space on the fender directly above the plate. Add a chrome frame and chrome plate bolts with red LED's wired to the brake light, some chrome LED arrows and there you have it. I am looking for something to replace the chrome LED arrows because they are not too bright in the day but are great at night. Any suggestions for brighter custom turn signals?
