Here you go slave, you can read through all the posts and make up your own mind. http://www.m109riders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114458&highlight=Ozzy+turbo+109I have seen clips here, and there, and they never show what it does, or what kind of performance numbers. when is somebody going to show the world what a turbo 9 will do?
That sir would be impressive and down right nasty!!! :doorag:My bike ran 11.7 down the 1/4 mile before turbo!! I just had a run with a mate of mine who ran 10.3 down the 1/4 mile on his kwaka zx10r. We did 3 runs on the road from a standing start, me leaving a black line in first gear until i pegged 2nd gear and he didn't catch me until i hit the top end limiter in 5th gear with about 5 bike lengths between us.
So i am assuming i have a low 10second M109R :evil::evil:
Waaa-wot-wot-waaa-wot-wot-waaaa.............I don't understand anything you just said.After alot of years on dynos and working with customers cars with both turbos and blowers and superchargers and yes there is a difference. One thing the other thread did not address is that most of the time boost pressure is only measured in the inlet tract and most of the time only where it is easily read. I have seen motors that had 9 to 1 compression and a small roots style blower mounter with stock heads. The boost was 8 lbs and the power was something I have completely forgotten. But the point is when we changed to another head with the same chamber size but better ports and valves the power shot way up and the boost dropped like a rock. Was the blower putting out less air. No. Just that more of the air was reaching the cylinder than before so the percieved pressure was less on the gage but way more in the combustion chamber. We all know that our bikes are intake challenged. So when you free up the intake and then provide boost it is going to read all out of proportion to what you would expect. If Bigeh had plumbed his turbo into the little holes on the backside of the aircleaner housings we would have seen a much higher boost reading and a lot less power. Good job Bro
Now that I get!!! Thanks dude. :bigthumbsup:.......:doorag:Easy answer is if you blow thru a drink straw your going to have to use pressure to empty your lungs. Small straw either takes longer or more pressure. If you use a piece of 1 inch pvc you can move the same amount of air with less pressure in the same time. Same work with less pressure needed.
G'day Dave, Howz the trailer going?? LMAO only kidn mateHey "Bigeh",
Might be time to take some onboard bike to bike footage, to illustrate what the Turbo 9 goes like. :a18: A camera mounted on a mate's bike, on the drag strip or at the track would be best of course....as on know those W.A. cops watch youtube constantly, to catch guys speeding and posting the clips online. The Fun Police !
:cop::bdh:
Come on Bigeh....post a few clips mate. :bigthumbsup:

And higher pressure generates more heat in the air stream, which reduces power. Reducing the pressure reduces the heat and you generate more power. :bigthumbsup::bigthumbsup:Same work with less pressure needed.
:bow::bow::bow: That bike would fit right in on a remake of a Mad Max Movie.Here you go slave, you can read through all the posts and make up your own mind. http://www.m109riders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114458&highlight=Ozzy+turbo+109
At the end of reading all the threads you will probably have 1 question, what does it do down the 1/4 mile. Soon will be revealed.
My numbers are in my signature :evil::evil:.

Bigeh..
Bob there is a fair bet that other people will laugh at my Farking stupidity but no guarantee, So i need to laugh at myself. Either way lifes too short not to laughLooks like your sig was a premonition. Just how much power and torque did you move the wall with??"Horse power (176hp) is how fast you hit the wall, Torque (147ft lbs ) is how far you take the wall with you" THIS MUCH :a20:
At least you got a good sense of humor about it. Glad your OK
